Frequently Asked Questions

Q How long does it take to service/repair my car?

About 90% of the time we can offer Same Day Service. The other 10% of repairs take longer due to the amount of work, parts not being readily available, or delays in getting authorization for repairs.

Q How much will it cost?

We can estimate some repairs without seeing your car. Our estimates are almost always “right on” however we are only able to provide you with a completely accurate and detailed estimate after evaluating your vehicle.

Q What makes of vehicle do we work on?

Most foreign and domestic cars & lt. trucks.

Q What are your hours?

8:00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday. We’re closed on Sunday.

Q Do you use original equipment parts? (OEM)

Yes, we do. We also use aftermarket parts of equal or better quality. Especially when we can save you time & money and not compromise quality. We will gladly use OEM parts exclusively if you request.

Q Will, you use remanufactured components?

Yes, whenever it makes sense, especially regarding starters, alternators, generators, engines, and transmissions. However, it really is your decision. We will give you our best recommendation, if you choose to install brand new parts over remanufactured (and pay the additional charge) we will honor your wishes.

Q Do you have Towing?

No, but we have access to 24-hour towing service. Contact us at (508) 393-3225 for more info.

Q How do I check the transmission fluid level?

Always check the fluid level with the engine running (except Honda), the transmission in “park” (except Dodge products which should be in neutral with the emergency brake applied), and with the engine at operating temperature. Remove the dipstick and wipe with a rag. Insert the stick fully and remove. Look at both sides of the stick to verify the same indication.

Q How long will my engine/car last?

There is no one who can answer that question. The mileage or time of use before major problems occur will vary greatly, and therefore, there isn’t a direct correlation between mileage and engine failure. Major factors in the service life of an engine are Regular maintenance, Maintaining proper fluid level, and your driving habits.
